Australia rights of Woda No. 6 sold for Rs. 1.5 million

The producers of their upcoming movie ‘Woda No. 6’, actor Deepak Raj Giri and actress Deepa Shree Niraula are currently in Australia to participate in cultural events. During the stage show program, they have also managed to do business deals for the movie. Deepa and Deepak have told that they have made an agreement with Khilendra Timilsina to show the movie in Australia.

The agreement to show the movie in Australia is valued at Rs. 1.5 million. In similar earlier agreement, the production team had sold the out-of-Kathmandu rights of the movie to FD Company for a minimum of Rs. 3.5 million. The movie currently in post-production is expected to follow the hit previous movie by the same production team, ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ (watch ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ here).

Saugat Bista offered Rs. 350k scholarship in his school

The Guinness World Records holder for being the youngest movie director, Saugat Bista, has been offered a full scholarship in the school he is going now. The grade 2 student, Saugat, will be able to study till grade 10 for free from the Rs. 350,000 scholarship offered by Suryodaya Secondary School.

Laxya Bahadur KC, the school principal, has told that he and the school is proud of Saugat for his extraordinary job.

Rajesh Hamal and Madhu Bhattarai heads to USA

The couple has left for the USA to participate in a NRN conference. The Hamal couple’s honeymoon plan right after their marriage was foiled when Madhu couldn’t get the visa. They went to Pokhara instead.

That was not the only canceled plan of US visit, another plan was canceled because the shooting schedule conflicted with their planned travel. This time, when Turkish Airlines aircraft disrupted the international airlines, Hamal was concerned and expressed his happiness when it was cleared.
