Film shootings resumes after earthquake

After devastating earthquake of April 25, 2015, the Nepali film industry is trying to get back to its track. After the earthquake all the shootings were halted, movie releases re-scheduled, and the theatres were closed. Artists were busy in earthquake relief works. Now, more than a months of the sad incident, the industry some works have started.

At the time of  the earthquake, the shooting of the movie ‘Bhaag Saani Bhaag’ was in its last stage in Kathmandu. When the shooting studio was damaged by the earthquake, the remaining shooting was done in the home of one of the artists.

The shooting of actor Bhuwan KC debut movie as a director, ‘Dreams’ has also started in Pokhara. Bhuwan’s son Anmol KC is in leading role opposite Samragya RL Shah. Anmol is being featured as the owner of Fulbari Resort in Pokhara in the movie.

The shooting of Jiwan Luitel‘s movie ‘Bajigar’ is also going on in Saptari.
