Three new movies have released in theatres in Nepal today on Friday, September 2, 2016. It is interesting that the lead actress of the two movies ‘Laljodi’ and ‘Bracelet’ is Rajani KC. The lead actress of ‘Brindaban’ is Shilpa Pokharel.

These movies are seeking the viewers’ attention at the time of Teej holidays.

Laal Jodee

The movie directed by journalist Laxman Subedi, ‘Laal Jodee’ features comedy actors of television. The fake Baburam, Jyoti Kafle, Hait of ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’, Buddhi Tamang, Rajani KC, Puran Thapa, Govinda Koirala and Aayushma Karki are the leading actors of the movie. The movie is produced and written by the director Laxman Subedi. ‘Laal Jodee’ features the music of Tanka Budhathoki and lyrics of Dinesh Subedi. Actress Rekha Thapa had given voice to one of the songs of the movie.

Bracelet

The movie directed by Nirmal Sharma, ‘Bracelet’ features Ramesh Upreti and Rajani KC in leading roles. The movie made on the family love story is also the comeback movie of Ramesh Upreti. After living in USA for a long time, Ramesh had returned back to Nepal a while ago. The movie is produced by Keshav Bhattarai. Watch the trailer of ‘Bracelet’:

Brindaban

The movie directed by Rajbahadur Shane features actress Shilpa Pokharel in an action role. Actor Kishor Khatiwada is featured opposite to Shilpa in the movie. The movie also features a monkey in leading role. It has been a while since animals were featured in main roles in Nepali movies.
