Indian beauty, Nicole Faria, won the Miss Earth 2010 title

The tenth Miss Earth title goes to Nicole Faria, an Indian beauty, in an event held on Dec. 4, 2010 in Vietnam. In the contest, Miss Air was Jennifer Pazmiño (Ecuador), Miss Water was Thai beauty Watsaporn Wattanakoon and Miss Fire was Yeidy Bosques from Puerto Rico.Our, Miss Nepal runner-up, Sahana Bajracharya has to return home empty handed.
The final of the Miss Earth 2010 was held at Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang, Vietnam with 84 contestants from all over the world. The outgoing titleholder Miss Earth 2009, Larissa Ramos of Brazil handed over the crown to Ni
cole Faria.Apart from the title, Nicole also own the Miss Earth Talent 2010, held on Nov. 19, after beating 17 other finalists. To win the title, the Miss India performed a belly dance – a fusion of oriental and Middle Eastern style.
This event has a historical significance to India as it is the first time India has won Miss Earth title.
