Two jailed and fined for bribing attempt to SP Ramesh Kharel

The Special Court on Wednesday announced prison term of seven days and fine of Rs. 25,000 each to two individuals for trying to bribe Superintendent of Police (SP) Ramesh Kharel last year.

A division bench of judges Gauri Bahadur Karki, Om Prakash Mishra and Kedar Prasad Chalise issued the verdict.

Sunil Kumar Shrestha of Sindhupalchok and Krishna Prasad Jati of Bhaktapur were arrested with the money on September 29, 2010, while trying to bribe SP Kharel, for a recommendation for their people to recruit in Nepal Police.

Anupama Aura Gurung – Miss Earth Nepal 2011

Anupama Aura Gurung is the first runner-up of Miss Nepal 2011. Anupama represents Nepal in Miss Earth 2011 to be held in Manila, Philippines on December 3, 2011. The beauty contest was supposed to be held in Thailand but a flood caused the event to be moved to Manila.

Anupama, a daughter of a Gorkha army in Singapore, lived there until she turned 21. Here are some bikini shots of Anupama.
