'Naina Resham' and 'Bhaihalchha Ni' releasing on April 27

This week, two Nepali movies are releasing. A movie made by the director MS Agraj, "Bhai Halchha Ni" is releasing all over Nepal and director RBK Sharad’s "Naina Resham" are going to be released in Kathmandu theaters.

Bhaihalchha Ni is a new release by Colours Movies and Entertainment. The movie featuring Suman Singh, Garima Pant, Sonia KC, Bishal Pokharel,
Sunil Thapa etc. in leading roles featured Govind Acharya’s music.

"Naina Resham" was previously screened in theaters out of Kathamndu and features Nisha Adhikari and Biraj Bhatt in leading role. This was the debut movie of Nisha Adhikari. The movie features music of Basanta Sapkota and was produced by Ajit Jung Rayamajhi.

Nirak Poudel marries Anisha Thapa

Nirak Poudel, the son of the owner of Gopi Krishna Movies, Uddav Poudel, has got married to Anisha Thapa.

Previously Nirak was rumored to have an affair with actress Nisha Adhikari. The end of the affair with Nisha was public when Nirak posted a photo of then unknown Anisha in his Facebook profile in January.

Keki Adhikari selected Brand Ambassador of Miss Nepal US 2012

Nepali actress Keki Adhikari is selected the brand ambassador of the second edition of Miss Nepal USA, to be held in the USA. As a brand ambassador, Keki will help in the promotion of the event.

Nepali actor, living in USA, Saroj Khanal is also selected as the cultural coordinator of the event.

Miss Nepal USA 2012 is going to be held in Washington DC on August 11. The application for the c
ontest is open for the beauties of Nepali origin, living in the USA. The application deadline is May 15th, 2012.

'The Peach Keeps on Blooming' nominated in Detectivefest

Nepali feature film, ‘Yesari nai Aaru Fulchha’ by Kollywood Films Pvt. Ltd. Nepal is nominated in the XIV International Festival of Detective Films (Detectivefest) in the ‘Feature film on detective and law-enforcement themes’ genre. The movie is one of the 74 movies selected in the genre.

The title of the movie translated to ‘The Peach Keeps on Blooming’ in English, is directed by Subhash Gajurel. Director Gajurel had previously directed movies like ‘Basai;, ‘Ko Hola Mero Mayalu’, and ‘Naya Nepal’.

'a 69' another Nepali movie to be made on sex theme

Sexual theme has become the trend of Nepali movie industry in the recent time. Success of ‘Palpalma’ and ‘Chapali Height‘ have encouraged movie makers to choose movies of sexual themes.

Director Baburam Dhakal is directing a movie named ‘a 69′. Director told that the artists for the movie hasn’t been finalized yet. Made on the story, script and dialogue of Prakash Puri, the movie will also be shot in the UK.

'So Simple' to feature Shiva Regmi daughter Bhawana

After Keki Adhikari (director Badri Adhikari’s daughter) another director daughter, Bhawana Regmi (director Shiva Regmi’s daughter) is debuting as a lead actress in a movie under her father’s direction.

Inaugurated on April 20 in Lalitpur, the movie, ‘So Simple’ will also feature the brother of script writer Pradeep Bhardwoj, Pramod Bhardwoj in leading role. In addition to Bhawana and Pramod, the movie will also feature the producer Keshav Bhattarai, Arjun Shreshta, Sushil Pokharel, Binod
Bhattarai, Rashmi Bhatta, Nirmal Sharma etc. in main roles.

Finally, Namrata signed in "Kollywood"

Namrata Shrestha has signed in an upcoming movie “Kollywood”. Earlier it was announced at the official press meet that Miss Nepal 2010 first runner-up, Sahana Bajracharya would play as the lead role in the movie.

Rekha and Chhabi divorce rumor

It is no secret that the husband-wife relationship between the actress Rekha Thapa and film producer Chhabi Raj Ojha is in trouble these days. In a latest rumor, Chhabi was quoted as talking about divorce with Rekha.

According to an online news Dcnepal, Chhabi confided with Aryan Sigdel during the inauguration of a movie, "So Simple" that the divorce rumor was true. Chhabi had also asked Aryan to work in his upcoming movie.

Rekha and Chhabi are married for 10 years and they
had been very successful in Nepali movie industry.

91 arrested for fake driving license

Police on Saturday morning arrested 91 persons for trying to obtain their driving licenses through fake procedure by paying money to brokers.

The police arrested them at the local Capital hotel and Jaljala Hotel near the bus park along with the broker while dealing in necessary paperwork to apply for driving license.

All of the arrestees are from Chitwan, Nawalparasi and Butwal and had reached Bheri Zonal Transportation Office to obtain driving license without undergoing trials and written exams.

Police suspects some staffs of transportation office and some police officers in the racket.

It has been learnt that SK Driving Centre of Butwal, Hamro Driving Centre of Bharatpur and Nawalpur Driving Centre of Nawalparasi are involved in dealing in forged licenses.

Rishi Rimal of SK driving and Santosh Sharma of Nawalpur has been detained by police while Kumar Pariyar of Hamro Driving and other members of the fake license racket fled when the raid was conducted.

Hari Bamsha Acharya to open a childcare center in the name of his late wife

To remember his wife Meera Acharya who died last year, comedy actor Hari Bansha Acharya has announced a child care center to be opened in his ancestral property in Sankhu, Daltar.

Meera Acharya died on Baisakh 7, 2068 because of cancer. On the 1st year of her death, Hari Bamsha announced ‘Meera Child Care Center’ to be constructed on Hari Bamsha’s 2 Ropani land. The center is going to be constructed by Maha Sanchar in collaboration with Child Reach. The c
enter will serve five villages in and around Sankhu area.

A Bollywood artist of Nepali origin, Minakshi Thapa found dead

An artist who had worked as a junior artist in Bollwood movies, Minakshi Thapa was found dead in Ilahabad by the Mumbai police.

Mumbai police has accused a junior artist Amit Jayasawal and a model, Preeti Suni of killing Minakshi. Police has told that they had killed the actress in an attempt to abduct her and get ransom.

The model and the artist had lured Minakshi to Illahabad by promising her to offer a role in a Bhojpuri movie.
