Five nominated for Pulsar popular player
On Thursday, five players have been nominated for Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) Popular Player of the Year 2068.

Midfielder cum striker of national football team, Bharat Khawas, Nepal´s no 1 tennis player, Aslesha Lissanevitch, cricket player Shakti Gauchan, Sabita Chaudhary of athletics and Ramila Tandukar of volleyball are nominated for the popular player of the year category under the Pulsar Sports Award at the Nepal Tourism Board. Who will be the winner among these nominees will be finalized through SMS voting during the Sports Award which will be held on July 4.
NSJF is annually conducting the Sports Award. On the basis of performance, sports persons are nominated in eight different categories: Pulsar player of the year male and female, youth player, coach, para athlete, lifetime achievement award, special award and popular player of the year.
During the award ceremony, the winner of the special award, lifetime achievement award and para-athlete award will be disclosed and for remaining other category, nominees are yet to be disclosed. (Photo credit: Republica)

Nepali Movie – Dravya (pre-release review)
Nepali movie ‘Dravya’ is releasing on June 8, 2012. The movie directed by Markendey Dipbim Basnet features Ashok Phuyal, Anoop Bikram Shah, Kalpana Shahi, Biraj Bhatt, Anu Shah, Amit Pokharel in leading roles.

The movie features the cinematoraphy of Ganesh Shrestha, fight direction of Shankar Maharjan Sharad, music direction of Bishesh Pandey, editing of Subash Devkota, and story/script/dialogue of Suvash Singh Basnet.

Artists organized a special treat for Richa Ghimire and Sanchita Luitel
Nepali actresses Richa Ghimire and Sanchita Luitel and going to give birth within a couple of months. Richa is expecting in a month and Sanchita in two months. To welcome the new child, Nepali movie artists organized a special ceremony. In Nepali tradition, to be moms are fed beaten rice and yogurt (dahi chiura) before the childbirth.
