20th filmy anniversary – Rajesh Hamal, Chhabi Ojha, Rajendra Khagdi

It has been 20 years since Rajesh Hamal started acting. 20 years back the movie “Yug Dekhi Yug Samma” gave birth to a new actor – Rajesh Hamal, new producer – Chhabi Ojha, and a new fight director – Rajendra Khadki who later became the top in their respective fields. 

Rajesh Hamal has acted in more than 250 movies in the last 20 years.

Chhabi Ojha (Rekha Thapa’s husband) has also been equally successful after his first movie. He has produced 11 movies 20 years and many of them were successful. Yug Dekhi Yug Samma, Nata, Janmabhumi, Hero, Kasto Saaino, Yestai Rahechha Jindagi, Ajambari Nata, Himmat, Kismat, Hifajat, and Kasle Choryo Man.

Chhabi told that he is used to taking new lead actors in his movies. During the production of his first movie, Rajesh Hamal was preferred for his similarity in looks with then popular Indian actor Mithun Chakraborty.

Fight director Rajendra Khadki got lucky in his first movie when the previously chosen fight director, Gopal Bhutani, couldn’t manage time due to his busy schedule. Rajendra Khadki is still working with Chhabi in his movies. Khadki has done fight direction of about 300 movies in the 20-year-old fight direction career.
