Manisha Koirala comeback in Bollywood

After her marriage didn’t work (at least, unofficially), Manisha Koirala was trying to make a comeback in Bollywood. Producer and director Ram Gopal Varma  is making her wish come true with the remake of a horror movie. Fans of Manisha had been curious on the role of Manisha in her upcoming horror movie. Ram Gopal explained that, Manisha will be featured in the movie as a mother of two kids.

Bhuwan KC and Binita Baral – Result of the name change game

This time, there was an unlikely competition between a established producer and actor Bhuwan KC and a new entry actress Binita Baral. It was not only in changing their names on the suggestion of their respective astrologers, they also competed in creating controversies. And the unlikely winner was Binita Baral (we better call her Beenita Baral).

Nepali film industry is becoming more competitive these days. Sanchita pregnant again?

It has only been 7 months since Nikhil and Sanchita had their first child – and there is rumor of another child in Sanchita’s belly.

The first child was scheduled to be delivered on August 10 but took a little while before he was born on August 21, on Krishna Janmastami. It is a coincidence that Sanchita’s next baby’s delivery date is also the same – August 10, exactly a year after the delivery date of her first child.

Bhuwan KC talks Sathi Ma Timro

The actor and producer Bhuwan KC is one of the well known personality in Nepali movie industry who doesn’t need an introduction. It was at the end of 2009 Bhuwan KC announced his son to be featured in Sathi Ma Timro. After almost a year, he realized Anmol need to focus more on studies than in acting. By the time Bhuwan was ready to release his movie, he sought suggestions from astrologer who suggested him to add a letter in his Name. That is reason behind Sathi ma Timro being presented by Bhuwann KC not Bhuwan KC.

At the time of release of his latest movie, Raunak has talked with Bhuwan for xNepali on various issues of his new movie:

Q. Tell us something about your upcoming project “Sathi ma Timro”?
Bhuwan - “Sathi ma Timro” is a story about a family in which, a 5 year kid Sirshak Sapkota has an important role. It is purely a family movie with some action, comedy, songs, and emotional scenes to cater the needs of Nepali movie viewers. In total, it is a family entertainment movie.

Q.  In some interviews, you have said that after the release of this movie 60% producers of Nepali movies will leave this field. Does this movie contain the story of our film industry?
Bhuwan - Yes, this movie has a story of our film industry too. It’s a story of a father and son, it’s a story of a family which resemblances to many families of our society.

Marriage problems in Nepali movie sector

Divorce in Nepali movie sector has become a common happening these days. Divorce brings in pain and problems and doesn’t come easy for both the parties involved. The traditional Nepali society has made it even worse in terms of setting a ‘bad example’ in the society.

Let’s analyze some of the high profile problems in marriages of the personalities of Nepali movie industry:

Bhuwan KC / Sushmita KC  – Bhuwan KC is known for his affairs with various ladies.  Bhuwan KC’s first marriage with Bijaya KC ended when Bijaya went to USA with their kids. Bhuwan found Sushmita KC as his second wife. That too didn’t lasted long and they ‘divorced’ until they reunited again after the release of "Ma Timi Bina Marihalchu". But, they have divorced again. Bhuwan’s affair with Sharmila Dangol didn’t went far and he is living alone these days. We won’t be surprised if Bhuwan and Sushmita get together after the release of ‘Sathi Ma Timro’ as predicted by friends in Films Nepal.

RIP Sushila Rayamajhi

Actress Sushila Rayamajhi has lost the battle against cancer and died on on Thursday, January 26, 2012 in B and B Hospital, Gwarko. The dead body is being kept in Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

Sushila had married twice and has a daughter from one and two daughters from another marriage. Sushila was suffering from a cancer in her womb for the last few years.

Manisha Koirala caught dead drunk in a party

We haven’t heard much good news about Manisha Koirala these days. Her re-entry in Nepali movie wasn’t that effective and the marriage didn’t work either. She had been seeking inner peace by visiting various yoga camps and she still doesn’t seem to have gathered herself up, yet.

Manisha was caught in a very unpleasant drunken state at a newly opened restaurant. It was the opening ceremony of the new restaurant, Versova, owned and operated by her ex-boyfriend Prashant Chaudhari.

Dressed in black-grey dress, Manisha, wasn’t able to control herself and was escorted to her residence by her friends.

Namrata Shrestha interview – do deceiving headings sell an online article?

I saw an interview of Namrata Shrestha published in an online magazine Ujyalo Online. The title looked interesting but, I later realized that it was totally deceiving. After reading the whole interview, I felt I was cheated by the website.

Do deceiving titles work in online media?

The title, when translated, reads "My character represents the current generation – Namrata Shrestha"
