Kid died after being punished for coming late to school

Punishment are supposed to help students to correct their errors not to kill. People argue that kids should not be punished at all. It seems teachers in India don’t agree to such a thing otherwise Milan would not have been dead. This Class 11 student of Narayani Guru Vidyalaya died Thursday after he was apparently asked to circle the school grounds seven times for coming late.He collapsed after two rounds and was pronounced dead when he was taken to a private clinic nearby. Read more at webindia site.
It can be a different debate weather a 16 year old boy can be so exhausted that he die just for making two rounds around the school. But punishing severely (which seems common in India) for such a minor mistake is no way a right method to teach students lesson. Most Popular Searches

The circumstances prevailing around the death of this child seem to be the risky factors including personal problems like lack of interest and those arising from failure to cope with school authority norms and thus leading to truancy, recurrent absenteeism, habitual suspension more so in upper grades and other disciplinary infractions. These bearings had profound impact on individual attendance, academic performance and character training. This act leading to the death of a pupil in school may not be incentive or pre-requisite to children’s retention in school but it as well may stimulate harsh legal implications against the school administration. The act and its consequences are not an answer to the Global Trend on Universalization of Primary Education. Damn shit! the teacher who could not control his/her temperament. Please, let the world know about the fate of this teacher as a way of curbing such harsh punishments that are negative to education for all policies worldwide.
Please, have a look.
