‘Maina’ film in Europe

“Maina” film based on real story of Maina Sunuwar, who died due to severe tortured by the army, is going to be shown in European various countries.

Today Director K.P. Pathak has take off for Europe and Pathak will be on one month long European Tour. The film will be shown in Belgium on 19th August, in Netherland on 20th August, in Sweden on 25th August, in Denmark on 26th August and in United Kingdom on 7th September.

Special Jury Award (by Film Development Board), Appreciation Award (by Nepali Film Industry) and many more award receiving film ‘Maina’ has not been publicly shown yet though it was made 3 years ago.

During Maoist insurgency period, Maina Sunuwar was detained by the army when they went to arrest and interrogate her mother, Debi Sunuwar on receiving information of her connection with Maoist.

    motivated story… trying to cash in sentiment of public.
    May be your political masters and $$$ donors are going to be happy
    with this story but it is totally biased .. which is regrettable…
    you should have come up with a total and true story with version
    of both side but…. congratulation for your $$$$ KHETI…..
