Miss Little Idol 2010 – Sagun

After posting the report about two kid’s talent shows in Pokhara, how can I miss another similar contest being held in Kathmandu. The contest named ‘Little Idol 2010′ was held on Saturday, August 14, 2010.Sagun Bhetwal got the title Miss Little Idol 2010 at an event held organized by Action Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
12 year old Sagun, a 6th grade student got a prize of Rs. 15,000.
First runner up, 10 year old Katy Winterburn received Rs 10,000 and 8 year old Riya Gurung, the second runner up received Rs. 5,000.
46 kids from 8 years to 13 years in age were participating in the talent show. The organizers told that children from every parts of the country have participated in the contest. If that is the case, what about the contestants from Pokhara? At least they had equal opportunity and included boys in the contest. Little Idol contest was only for the girls.
They had participants from Pokhara too and others were from Rukum, Taplejung, Dang, Kabhre, Dhaging, Dharan, Dolkha, Sunsari, Jhapa, and Khotang.
