Eye Test – Contest No. 2 Result

The 2nd eye contest proved to be very hard!

The first contest was very successful, and easy! We had a lot of correct entries. We are sorry to inform that, we didn’t receive any correct answer in the second contest.

The participants have mentioned names of every Nepali actress, except the correct name. I thought it was really interesting, so I made a graph out of it:

Let’s welcome Sunita Giri – our new blogger

If you were fed up with my writing, you will be relieved to know that a new writer, Sunita Giri, will be writing regularly. And, I have nowhere to go – so, I will also be writing.

Apart from writing, Sunita is a designer of woolen dress. Her favorite is bandanna (Dumb me, I didn’t know what they were until she showed me her photo wearing one). I wondered why it was called bandanna. Band makes sense but Anna doesn’t. I hope Sunita is mulling over my proposal to call them BandSunita or something like that.

Eye Test Contest No. 2

Contest closed! Result announced in Contest No. 3 Page!
We suspect the emails to the previous winners went to spam. So, only one winner is paid till now. We are still waiting replies from the other two.
First Contest

The first Eye Test Contest was held on Nov. 25, 2010 and result was announced on Dec. 1, 2010. We received more than a dozen correct answers and winners were selected randomly. Three winners were awarded Rs. 500 each. But, only one of them has replied as of now and we have already processed the payment. If other two don’t reply by the weekend, we will send the prize to the winners in the next number.

Second Eye Test Contest
We received a lot of entries – all the actresses were named except the owner of the eyes. So we have extended entry till December 10. If we don’t get the right answer by then, the prize will be transferred to the next contest.

Result of Eye Contest – 1 – congratulation to the three winners

We received 53 entries and various visitors guessed various actress as the owner of the eyes. But the majority were correct in guessing the right actress, Arunima Lamsal.

We have decided to award 3 winners this time (it was a Facebook friend’s suggestion to give away Rs. 1500 the first time). So, 3 people will receive Rs. 500 each this time. From next contests it will only be one. But, if we have funds available there might be more than one winners too.
