Actress Karishma Manandhar has a daughter in her late teens, Kabita Manandhar. Kabita is currently in the US for further studies.

Holi at Karishma Manandhar place and Binod’s birthday
Film producer and Karishma Manandhar‘s husband Binod Manandhar celebrated his birthday on Holi. To celebrate his birthday and Holi with film artists Karishma had organized a party in her house. Like in year 2011, many of the film artists had shown up in the party to enjoy the festival of colors.

In the party, Binod cut a cake and Karishma opened a bottle of champagne and shared them with the guests. Almost 600 guests were present in the event. Last year, Karishma didn’t organized such party because of the mourning on the death of Binod’s father.

The festival color, Holi is the best festival of the kids and Poojana Pradhan is the best person to count on celebrating Holi with kids. Poojana’s message, "Your happiness is my destiny." and she has wished best wishes of Holi to her lovely kids,family,friends,fans and audience. Poojana adds, "Enjoy Holi without hurting others!"

Mother actress Arunima Lamsal gets a mother’s role in Pipal
After giving birth to her first baby, Nepali Actress Arunima Lamsal hasn’t been able to get a good movie for the last couple of years. The only movie she had done after 19 months of giving birth to her child was ‘Urvashi’. In the upcoming movie, Arunima will be featured as a Dalit mother.

Arunima is excited about the character as it is the first time Arunima is featured as a Dalit woman. She is also satisfied that the producers have fulfilled all her demands. The movie is directed by Sachinraj Amatya and the shooting will start on the Holi day. Arunima confidently told that she will actively start acting in movies in coming days.

Friday release – Rhythm, Bardaan and Paltan
Three new movies have released in theater today (on March 8). Two of them, ‘Rhythm’ and ‘Paltan’ were released in Kathamndu and the third movie ‘Bardaan’ was released only in theaters out of Kathamndu after a mutual agreement with the other two. ‘Bardaan’ will release in Kathamndu on March 15.
Rhythm
Written and directed by Bikash Acharya, ‘Rhythm’ is made on a love story. The musical movie features Jiwan Luitel, Wilson Bikram Rai, Sweta Bhattarai, Nir Shah, Nishma Ghimire and Sohit Manandhar in main roles. The movie made on One Time banner is produced by Pradeep Dahal.

Three movies Manav, Rang and Maina released in theaters
This week three Nepali movies are released in theaters. Actor Saroj Khanal‘s reentry movie ‘Manav’, a historical movie based on real incident, ‘Maina’ and ‘Rang’ are the new releases this week.

Rang press meet main attraction Karishma in a short dress
The movie produced by MR Films Production, ‘Rang’ is going to be released on February 15, 2013. The release date of the debut movie of the long time assistant of actor Rajesh Hamal, Roshan Thakuri, was announced by organizing a press meet on February 12 in Kathmandu. One of the main attraction of the event was actress Karishma Manandhar, in a short one piece. Although she didn’t flash her underwear in this event, Karishma is known for showing her underwear in more than one events in the past.

In the yellow dress and matching shoes, Karishma looked younger than her actual age and stunning.

The debut movie of Roshan Thakuri as the director, ‘Rang’ is releasing on February 15, 2013. The movie is produced by MR Film Production and is made on the story of it’s director Roshan Thakuri.

First Indo-Nepal musical concert being held in Nepalgunj
A musical concert, Indo-Nepal Musical Concert, is being held in the stadium in Nepalgunj, Banke from today, Magh 27 (February 9, 2013). The three-days-long musical and sports event will wrap up on Monday, Magh 29.

Bimal Poudel replaced by Jaya Kishan Basnet in hunger strike
One of the participants of the indefinite hunger strike, Bimal Poudel, has to withdraw himself from the protest after his 69-year-old father died in Chitwan. His father was suffering from problems in his kidney.

30 protesting film artists arrested
In an effort to lock down the Film Development Board (FDB), the police has arrested 30 film artists on Thursday, January 17. When the police removed the lock the protesting film artists installed on January 9, they had gathered up at the FDB office to lock it down again.
