It seems, Chhabi is planning to produce the sequels of all the hit movies made under Rekha Films. After the completion of the sequel of ‘Kismat’, ‘Kismat 2’, Chhabi and Shilpa are busy in the preparation of another sequel ‘Hifajat 2’.
The video report on the news:
The movie ‘Hifajat’ was released in 2010. The movie had gone through a few controversies including the photo morphing in the poster and wearing religious clothes in provocative manner. For the promotion of the movie, Rekha had told that she had prepared 30 mini-skirts for the movie. Rekha had used the miniskirt as the promotional stunt. She had told that she has worn nothing but miniskirts till the end of the first half (read more about the ‘Hifajat’ promotional stunt).

Chhabi Raj Ojha’s next movie ‘Kismat 2’ is releasing in the Dashain this year. It seems, the film team is well prepared not to leave any stone unturned. The lead actress, Shilpa Pokharel has told in an interview that if her family agrees, she is willing to marry Chhabi Raj Ojha. Based on previous statement, I think, she is very unlikely to marry Chhabi and it is only a publicity stunt. This time, Chhabi had prepared the situation by formally divorcing Rekha Thapa in the court.
I did an analysis of the situation and prepared the following video:

The second biggest festival in Nepal after Dashain, Tihar has been wrapped up on Friday November 13. The last day of Tihar – Bhai Tika is celebrated by brothers and sisters to show their love and dedication to each other. On the occasion, despite of economic blockade from India, people have followed the tradition. Update
Top 5 Bhai Tika moments:
- Komal Oli’s petrol presents to her brothers
- Palpasa Dangol’s – Bhaitika in Teaching Hospital
- Dilip Rayamajhi and Jal Shah celebrate Bhai Tika after 13 years
- Rista Basnet got well just in time for Bhai Tika

Singer, journalist and actress Komal Oli made this year’s Bhai Tika memorable by presenting 2-litres petrol to each of her brothers. At the time of petrol-crisis in Nepal, that would certainly made the happiest brothers.
Comedy actress Palpasa Dangol, popularly known as Chamsuri has urine infection and was rushed to emergency room in Teaching Hospital right before Bhai Tika. As she had to be treated in the hospital, her brothers visited Dangol in hospital bed to take Bhai Tika. Palpasa has told that that was one of the most memorable Bhai Tika in her life.

The movie introduction however states that the story is not based on real incidents or people.
In a program held at Ganesh Mandir at Kamaladi, the shooting of the upcoming movie ‘Kismat 2’ was officially inaugurated. The movie is a sequel of the successful movie by Chhabi Raj Ojha, ‘Kismat’. In the event, the script and the clap-board of the movie were worshiped in the temple of the god, Ganesh. In Hindu culture, god Ganesh is considered the god to help during the initial stage of any work.
The shooting of the movie is scheduled to start on September 10 in locations in Jomsom. Director Rishi Lamichhane is directing the movie. Shyam Bhattarai was the director selected to direct the movie initially. But, as Shyam headed towards the USA and is not expected to return back anytime soon, Rishi is chosen to direct the movie. The director Shyam Bhattarai had gone on the refuge of Chhabi Ojha when he was kicked out of Rekha Thapa‘s movie, ‘Himmatwali’. To compensate for the unjust caused by Rekha, Chhabi had promised to let Shyam direct one of his movies.
Nepali Movie – Lazza
Starring – Aryan Sigdel, Shilpa Pokharel, Mithila Sharma, Kiran KC etc.

Watch file video report about Chhabi promising role in ‘Kismat 2’:
Actress Shilpa Pokharel is going to be featured in a movie in which a monkey will be featured in the leading role. In the initial announcement of the ‘Kismat’ sequel ‘Kismat 2’, director Shyam Bhattarai was named the director. The announcement was made during the birthday celebration of the actress Shilpa Pokharel in December last year. In a latest report, Shyam is replaced by ‘Hawaldar Suntali’ director Rishi Lamichane.
Photo: Rishi Lamichhane (left) looking at the cake while Shilpa Pokahrel feeds her birthday cake to Chhabi Raj Ojha.
Shyam Bhattarai is currently in USA. He went there on April 10 and is not expected to return back until the start of the shooting of ‘Kismat 2’. That is the reason behind the change in the director of the movie. But, others believe that the success of ‘Hawaldar Suntali’ has helped Rishi to gain confidence from Chhabi. Whatever may be the case, Shyam Bhattarai has been removed from their movies by both Chhabi Raj Ojha and Rekha Thapa. The direction agreement between Chhabiraj Films and Rishi Lamichane was made on April 23.
