In the film award ceremony held in Malaysia, actor Aryan Sigdel won the best actor award from the movie ‘Mero Love Story’. In actress category, the best actress award was awarded to Richa Sharma from the same movie. The best movie award and the best director award was awarded to ‘Kathmandu’ and it’s director Aakash Adhikari respectively.
Actor Nir Shah was honored by ‘Abhinaya Shiromani’ award in the event.
Best actor in negative role was awarded to Jharana Thapa for her role in ‘Facebook’. Best script award and new director awards were awarded to Nischal Basnet for the script and direction of ‘Loot‘. Best new actor awards were to Samyam Puri for his role in ‘Sayaad’ and Sabin Shrestha for his role in ‘Andaaz‘. Best new actress award was awarded to Prapti Ghimire for her role in ‘Kathmandu’. Best comedy actor award was awarded to Wilson Bikram Rai for his role in ‘Sayaad’.
The best dialogue award was awarded to Om Pratik for ‘Farki Aau’. Best cinematography award was awarded to Rajesh Shrestha for his work in ‘Mero Love Story’. Best make up award was also awarded to the movie’s makeup man Saroj Pandey. Best fight director award was awarded to Chandra Panta for his work in ‘Rawan’. Renasha Rai was awarded best choreographer for her job in ‘Malatiko Bhatti’. Neelima Sharma from ‘Ke you Maya Ho’ was awarded the best costume designer award.
Best child artist award was awarded to Shirshak Sapkota for his role in ‘Sathi Ma Timro‘. Best musician award was awarded to Suresh Adhikari for his composition in ‘Maya’s Bar’. Best playback singer award was awarded to Rajesh Payal Rai for his song ‘Sararara …’ in ‘Maya’s Bar’. Mandavi Tripathi received the best playback singer, female, award for singing ‘Simple Simple Kanchi..’ in ‘Andaaz’. Best lyrics award was awarded to Kiran Kharel for his lyrics in ‘Pal’ and the best story award was also awarded to the ‘Pal’ writer Karna Shakya.
