NRB directive not to transact kings´ image notes

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has requested the public not to take notes with former kings’ image and to exchange their notes with kings’ images and torn notes till today from the banks and financial institutions. NRB is preparing not to transact such notes from Tuesday (Chaitra 1) onwards. It has also issued a directive to the banks and financial institutions for it.
