The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the state owned oil monopoly, has increased the prices of petrol and aviation fuel effective from Sunday.
As per the new price structure, the price of petrol increased by Rs 9 and reached Rs 97 per litre.
Likewise, the NOC has hiked the price of aviation fuel to Rs 90 per litre from Rs 80. However no changes have been made in the prices of diesel, kerosene and cooking gas.
NOC said that the prices of petrol and aviation fuel have to be increased due to the rise of petroleum prices in the international market.
