RIP Sushila Rayamajhi

Actress Sushila Rayamajhi has lost the battle against cancer and died on on Thursday, January 26, 2012 in B and B Hospital, Gwarko. The dead body is being kept in Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.

Sushila had married twice and has a daughter from one and two daughters from another marriage. Sushila was suffering from a cancer in her womb for the last few years.

Sushila started her career from radio plays and worked as a government employee in Rastriya Naachghar. Known for natural acting in character roles, Sushila debuted in the leading role in Nepali movie ‘Chot‘. 

Sushila had also produced and co-produced movies like ‘Dhan Sampati’ and ‘Pinjada‘. Sushila’s daughter, Samridhhi Rayamajhi, was the lead actress in ‘Dhan Sampati’. Sushila’s last successful movies were Bhuwan KC‘s ‘Ma Timi Bina Marihalchhu’ and ‘Sano Sansar‘.

  1. Being a big fan of Sushila Raimajhi, I am truly saddened by her death news. Her passing will not only leave a void in her family lives, but in the hearts of everyone in the film industry and fans who knew her. Sushila’s memory will always remain deep within everyone’s heart.

  2. Its a deeply saddened news about the sudden and early death of Sushila Rayamajhi. She was such a finest actress in the character roles, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was probably one of my favourite actress and a natural beauty of all time.
