Saraswati Puja being observed

Sripanchami, also known as Saraswati Puja is being observed Saturday all over the country by worshiping the goddess of knowledge, Saraswoti.From this day, the sun starts moving to the northern hemisphere causing long days and signaling the advent of spring season. So, this day is also known as ‘Basanta Panchami’.
Devotees and students visited Saraswoti temples on this day across the country. They throng Swoyambhu, Maitidevi, Nilsaraswoti temple at Gairidhara and Saraswoti temples in other districts.
Students also worship their pens and books to please Goddess Saraswoti.
