Singer Kumar Kancha dies at 54

Famous singer Kumar Kancha, who has sang in more than 100 Nepali movies and who has also acted in some movies, passed away while undergoing treatment in a hospital in Mumbai on Monday.
The singer was battling against Spinal-cord-tumor for more than seven months. He was also partially paralyzed due to tumor. Kancha was born in Calcutta on Dec 13, 1957. He used to live with his wife and two sons. Apart from a successful singing career, he has also acted in Nepali movies such ‘Lahure’ and ‘Koseli’. Kumar Kancha has also sang in more than thousand songs in over 25 languages in India. He has also won national level award for his brilliant acting in the movie ‘Piya ka Gaon’.Most Popular Searches
