Although Anmol or Bhuwan KC have yet to confirm the actress’s role in the movie, Upasana has shared a photo of herself with Anmol KC in her Instagram profile.
In a program held in Kathmandu, the trailer of highly awaited movie ‘Kri’ was released. In the program, the actor Anmol KC made public appearance after about one and a half year of hiding. In the program the actress of the movie, Aditi Budhathoki, was also present. Anmol KC and Aditi answered the questions raised by the journalists in the program. The controversy about the release and delay of Shweta Khadka’s movie ‘Kanchhi’ was also discussed in the program. Video report is attached at the end of this post.
The trailer of one of the most awaited movies in the Nepali movie industry is releasing today. The lead actor and the son of one of the producers of the movie, Anmol KC has also confirmed that the trailer is releasing today. The posters released earlier featured Anmol KC in action avatar. The release date of the movie is also confirmed as February 9. Because of the possible competition, another movie scheduled to release on that day, ‘Kanchhi’ has decided to delay its release by a week. The release date of upcoming movie of Anmol KC ‘Kri’ has been finalized for Magh 26 (February 9). The date is the same date in which, Shweta Khadka’s comeback movie ‘Kanchhi’ was previously finalized. It these two movies are released in the same day, it would be a huge clash for them as both of them are the most awaited movies of the current time.

Nepali actresses come very cheap when compared to their male counterparts. The actress Rekha Thapa, who claims to be equivalent to a male actress, and always works in female-centric movies, is paid less than most of the male actors. Rekha’s rate is Rs. 5 lakh. Actor Anmol KC is paid about five times that amount. Another actor Pradeep Khadka is also paid more than four times that amount. In Rekha’s last movie, she also paid her co-star, Aryan Sigdel, 3 times the amount she expects others to pay her.

The son of superstar Bhuwan KC, Anmol KC, is the son of his second wife. With his first wife, Bijaya KC, Bhuwan had a son and a daughter. Bijaya lives with her children in the USA. Bhuwan had also named his production company after his daughter with Bijaya, Kajal KC.

The Kartik 3 release of ‘Kri’ has been delayed because of the delay in shooting. In the first look, the release date of Kartik 3 was mentioned. But, according to insiders, there is very little chance of the completion by that date.
The shooting of the movie in Manang is uncertain because of the adverse weather in the area. After the completion of the shooting in Dhampus, the film team has returned back to Kathmandu. The most awaited movie of the year ‘Kri’ is releasing this year. The movie created a huge hype by paying him Rs. 20,00,000 and keep him locked up for a year. He also kept himself away from the media and public for almost a year in preparation of the movie. One of the most successful actors in the film industry has 100% success rate from his four movies. All four movies were superhit movies of Anmol KC.
In addition to being exciting it is a challenging year for Anmol KC. He has to keep up with the higher expectation and to justify the cost involved in the movie.
At the time of this writing (in 2017), Anmol KC is shooting his fifth movie. All four previous movies of Anmol had been successful movies and there is a huge expectation from his upcoming movie ‘Kri’. There are no reports of the shooting scenes and the the actress Aditi Budhathoki, who is debuting in the movie.
Although Anmol was also featured as a child artists in a number of movies, as an adult he debuted in ‘Sathi Ma Timro’ in a very short role. As a lead actor, he debuted in ‘Hostel’

That was a long wait — more than a year after the annoucement, the shooting of the next movie of Anmol KC has started in Lalitpur on April 24, 2017. That was after multiple delays and rumours.
On the first day of shooting the film crew members inaugurated the shooting at Budhanilkantha temple. The first shooting was held at Emperial Apartment, Sanepa, Lalitpur. According to reports, the shooting will last for 60 days at locations in Kathmandu and Abu Khaireni, Gorkha.
Two bodyguards – photos banned at the sets
I don’t have any photos of the inauguration of the movie. That is because, no photos were allowed at the sets of the movie. In addition to that, the lead actor Anmol KC is also provided with two bodyguards so that he won’t be disturbed by his fans at the set of the movie.
Anmol KC has been in the hiding with occasional surprise appearances a few times in the last one year. She reportedly was preparing for the movie and is supposed to be featured in a new looks in the new movie. The actress Samragyee RL Shah was one of the most talked about actress of the year 2073. By the way she was covered in the media, it seems she was given more importance than she really deserves because:
No movies of Samragyee were released in the whole year, 2073. Although she signed in ‘A Mero Hajur 2’ and ‘Timi Sanga’, no trailer or music videos of the movies were released until the end of the year.
The movie, released previous year, in 2072, ‘Dreams’ was the debut movie of Samragyee and, her second movie is yet to release.
Samragyee wasn’t even active in the film industry or the entertainment industry before signing in her first movie, ‘Dreams’. Although Samragyee did some modeling assignments after participating and becoming the third in Classic Diamond contest, 2014, she is not much active in modelling.

High price
After the success of ‘Dreams’, Samragyee took no time in hiking her price. Before the release of the movie, she had verbally agreed to do the movie ‘Summer Love’. But, when the movie became a hit, she reportedly demanded Rs. 5 lakhs to do the movie. That is the price unheard of from an actress in the Nepali movie industry, let alone from a new actress. After that, the ‘Summer Love’ team decided to search for another actress. They even search for a Nepali actress in Australia. But, at last, they found Rewati Chhetri – an Indian actress of Nepali origin. Rewati was one of the contestants of Miss India 2015.
Love affair
On the 21st birthday, Samragyee shared photos with Mayank Khadka. The photos showing her in close embrace with Khadka was the topic of discussion in media. Khadka reportedly went to Pokhara to meet Samragyee at the shooting location of ‘A Mero Hajur 2’. Samragyee however denied love affair and told that Mayank was her good friend .
