The mud-filled festival of farmers, celebrated on Asar 15, is now largely show off rather than an actual festival. In the past, when most of the people in Nepal were farmers, it was the festival to start the cropping season. The marriage between work and fun is filled with celebration. These days, Asar 15 has been the celebration for photo-op and tourism. Nepali actresses have taken this opportunity to shot music videos and modeling photos in paddy field.
Here are the collection of some of the photos of various Nepali actresses getting dirty to take photos.

Actress Arunima Lamsal wrote the script of ‘Deepsikha‘. When the movie failed to impress audience, Arunima’s career as a writer is considered to have ended. Another writer, Kusum Anshal is also known to write the script of a movie made jointly by Nepal and India – ‘Panchawati’.
