Sonakshi Sinha and Malaika Arora performed in Tundikhel, Amarpanchhi concert

Note: In addition to Bollywood actresses, Nepali actresses had also performed in the concert. I will write about Nepali actresses in another post.

Two Bollywood actresses Sonakshi Sinha and Malaika Arora performed in a concert held in Tundikhel on the evening of Saturday, May 14, 2016.

Sonakshi Sinha told that she enjoyed the performance very much and also promised to return back to Nepal again. Sinha also greeted the viewers in Kathmandu with a Nepali phrase “Kasto Chha?”. Watch the following video to see and hear her say it.

Namrata Shrestha to perform in a concert on Sept 27

After the success of Nephop Evolution in Pokhara, Namrata is bringing the musical concert in Kathmandu.

For the first time in her entire career actress Namrata Shrestha sang in a concert in Pokhara last week. It seems, she is taking singing seriously and is going to do that again in Kathmandu with rapper Lahure.

Rajesh Payal Rai planning to get married?

In a latest report, bachelor singer, Rajesh Payal Rai, has finally made up his mind to get married. While he was in London during his Europe tour, he had a long discussion with his parents who live there about marriage. His parents wanted Rajesh to marry soon and like an obedient son, Rajesh has agreed to get married soon.

Rajesh Payal Rai is currently in Australia and he is doing a live concert in Sydney on Saturday. The concert is being organized by Tamu Samaj, Australia to mark the Losar festival. Another famous singer Anjana Gurung and
comedian dancer Bijay Thapa will also perform with Rajesh in the concert.

Musical concert with resolution writing

A ‘resolution for change’ program with a musical concert was organized by Kantipur Media Group today afternoon (November 10) at the Tundikhel grounds in Kathmandu. The program named “Pariwartan” with the slogan “One Nepali: One Resolution” was managed by Party Nepal and was live telecasted in Kantipur TV and Radio Kantipur.

Five of the famous Nepali musical bands, Robin and The New Revolution, Mukti and Revival, Mt 8848, The Shadows and Awaj Band presented different songs including patriotic songs in the 7 hours long program. ‘Mantra’, a rock and roll band from Darjiling also presented its famous song-‘Bir Gorkhali’. Hemant Rana, Sugam Pokhrel and Yogeshwor Amatya were also among the performers.

There were 15 different resolution boards of 4 ft height and 20 ft breadth in the area for the public to write their resolution. Kantipur Media Group signed a resolution – “Giving continuity to the Pariwartan Movement, Kantipur Media Group will work for social welfare.” Famous Comedian Deepak Raj Giri wrote his resolution – “he will follow Traffic Rules and will spend 10% of income in social work.”

Delhi concert of Bryan Adams canceled

The concert of Bryan Adams scheduled to be conducted on Feb 15 was canceled at the last moment. According to the ticketing site kyazoonga.com, they have received instructions from the organizers stating that the Bryan Adams concert in Delhi has been postponed.

Details of the new venue, date & time will be available later this evening.

The site has requested the customers have booked tickets online and through retail outlets, not to go the the NSIC venue to pick up the tickets.

The site promises to refund the ticket price if they don’t want to attend the rescheduled concert.

< p>Bryan Adams is scheduled to perform in the Indian city Hyderabad on Wednesday. He will perform in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Thursday and Friday and will be performing in Kathmandu on Saturday.

Adams has already performed in Indian cities Mumbai (Feb 12) and Bangalore (Feb 13). In the concerts Bryan was accompanied by his band comprising lead guitarist Keith Scott, and Michael Curry on the drums. The songs he performed were the hits of the 1980s.

Bryan Adams concert – ticket start at 2K

The Canadian singer, Bryan Adams, has confirmed the date and timing of the concert to be held in the Dashrath Stadium, Kathmandu. The organizers have finalized the ticket rate ranging from Rs. 2,000 to a maximum of Rs. 6,000.

In a press meet organized last week in Soltaee Hotel, the organizers of the concert told, more than 15,000 police and private security guards will be present for the security of the concert to be held on Saturday, Falgun 7 (February 19, 2011). The day is also the celebrated as the Democracy Day in Nepal.

Bryan Adams will arrive in Kathmandu on February 18 and will stay for two days. He will return on the next day.

The total capacity of the Stadium in Kathmandu is only 18,000. So, the organizers will only sell 15,000 tickets. The tickets are being sold through Manakamana Bikash Bank.

For the concert the stage design and sound system will be done by Total Production from India. Four huge screens will also be erected in the stadium during the concert.

On Feb. 19, the stadium will open at 2PM. At 6PM Nepali bands will perform for an hour. Bryan Adams will start his performance at 7PM and will finish at 9PM.

In his 32 years-long singing career, Bryan has won a number of awards including Grammy Awards, American Music Award, and Canadian Grammy Awards. Apart from music, he is popular for his photography skill. His photographs are published in magazines like vogue, Esquire, Zoo Magazine, among others.
