The movie ‘Surprise’ features the music of Bhim Basnet, and the action of Janak Gurung and Deepak Rai. The movie features the choreographer Dinesh Limbu, cinematographer is Prakash Subba. Editing by Buddha Thapa and Heman Yonjan. Buddha Thapa is the colorist, background score is prepared by Suman Yonjan. The movie is written and produced by the director, Bhim Lama.

About ‘The Famous’
The love story movie ‘The Famous’ is about the love not only towards one person but towards more than one person. The triangular-love story movie mostly features new faces and ‘Samaya’ actress Surabhi Jain and ‘ATM’ famed Sabina Karki (Watch ‘Samaya’ here and watch ‘ATM’ here). A double love story and family drama movie, ‘The Famous’ was released on November 18, 2016. (release news) The background of one of the songs in the movie was made entirely by computer graphics.
The director Samir Balami has also written the script of the movie. The cinematographer is Ashok Karki, editor is Suresh Chaudhary, and special effects by Madhukar Balami. The movie features the music of Santosh Pragad and Tanka Budhathoki.

On Friday November 18, 2016, two new movies were released in theatres. A Manoj Pandit movie ‘Chhaya’ and Samir Balami’s movie ‘The Famous’ were the new release.
The movie ‘Chhaya’ is about child abuse. According to data, every one girl-child in 4 girls and one in every 6 boy-children are abused in Nepal. The movie produced by Voice of Children and Interact Media addresses the child abuse issue in the society. In many cases, the parents are not aware of such abuses.
The director of ‘Greater Nepal’, ‘Dashdhunga’ and ‘Badhshala’, Manoj Pandit has tried shed light in the ignored aspect of children safety in the society. The movie features Anup Baral, Aruna Karki, Saibrat Acharya, Prabina Khadka, and Prakash Dahal in main roles. The music in the movie is composed by Kali Prasad Baskota.

Two new movies, both with English names – ‘The Winner’ and ‘The Famous’ are releasing in theater this Friday on November 4, 2016. The movie ‘The Famous’ is directed by Samir Balami and ‘The Winner’ is directed by Hikmat Bista.
‘The Winner’ featuring actress Malina Joshi with Maheshman Shrestha, Manchin Shakya, Reshu Tamang and Amit Giri is shot in various locations in Kathmandu, Australia, and Dubai. The movie is told to be the most expensive Nepali movie to date. The film makers have told that they have tried their best to give it a Bollywood / Hollywood flavour.

There hadn’t been much publicity of the movie released on Friday, January 22, 2016. The action movie ‘Chhal’ is directed by Shiva Pariyar. Most of the artists in the movie are new. Prajwal Giri, Sanjog Rana, Soniya Giri, Sabina Karki, Kabisha Shrestha and Shree Dev Bhattarai are the leading actors of the movie.
The movie ‘Chhal’ is made by the team that produced ‘Loot Company’ (Watch ‘Loot Company’ here). The shooting of the movie had started two years ago took a long time to complete.
This week on December 11, 2015, two new Nepali movies are released in theater – ‘Lati’ and ‘Agni’. Unlike other movies at the time of the release, these movies were not promoted much. The movie ‘Kabaddi Kabaddi’ is still running in theater with considerable viewers in its third week of release. The last week’s release ‘Chocolate’ has lost some theater because of less interest in viewers. ‘Chocolate’ actress and producer Poojana has expressed her surprise in the last of viewers in spite of excessive promotion of the movie.
Here are the songs of upcoming movie ‘Lati’. The movie features the music of Basanta Sapkota and lyrics of Dayaram Dahal. The movie initially scheduled to release on May 15 was delayed because of the earthquake of April 25. The ‘ATM’ actress Sabina Karki is featured in a character of a simpleton girl (watch ‘ATM’ here).

The first new movie released after April 25 earthquake, ‘One Side Love’ was released all over Nepal on July 3, 2015. The love story movie is directed by Devendra Raj Pandey and is presented by Warble Production.
Produced by Kapil Khatri, ‘One Side Love’ features Kapil with Raj Sunam, Sabina Karki, Beenita Ghimire, Sushil Pokharel and others. The movie was released in about 50 screens all over Nepal.
On the occasion of the birthday of one of the producers of the movie, the release date and poster of the upcoming movie ‘Lati’ was released. A presentation of Shishirjaya Kharel and Prasanna Rimal, ‘Lati’ is made on the direction of Rajbahadur Sane. The movie features Sabina Karki, Rival Malla, GK Sharma, Sujal Nepal and Subhash Gajurel in main roles.
The movie made under the banner of Srijana Films also features the child artist of the hit film ‘Jhola’, Sujal Nepal. The movie is made on a story of a simple girl who goes through hardships because of her simple nature. The movie features music of Basanta Sapkota, action of Pradeep Khadka, cinematography of Padmaraj Shrestha.

In a recent rumor, ‘Dhuwani’ actress Sagun Shahi has started dancing in hotels in Dubai. That was not all, it is revealed that a lot of other Nepali actress have been dancing in star hotels in Dubai.
The hotels run by Indian nationals demand Indian and Nepali actresses to dance in their hotels and casinos. The pay of such dancers range from 2,500 Riyal to 4,000 Riyal per month. The actresses usually dance in the hotels for few months to a year and come back to do movies. The movies they do are only to maintain their actress status. The earning made in acting is no match to the earning they make in Dubai.
Actress and model Simpal Khanal has been dancing in Dubai for some time. Five years ago, Simpal had married Prasanna Poudel, but the marriage lasted less than two years. It is rumored that Prasanna wasn’t happy when Simpal started visiting Dubai.

The movie titled Any Time Masti (ATM) had been one of the most controversial movies of all time. The vulgar dialogue and sex scenes had been highly criticized by everybody involved in the movie industry. The movie was banned by the government on the first day of release. Pre-release review of ‘ATM’ was posted previously.
The movie ‘ATM’ (Any Time Masti), banned after it’s second show in theater has been cleared for screening after a court ruling.
The censor board had asked the film makers to remove some scenes before it was suitable for screening in theater. The board banned the movie when it found that the film makers didn’t comply with the decision of the board and didn’t remove some of the objected scenes while screening the movie in theater.
