Himani Trust inaugurated by 'Shree Pach Sarkar' Gyanendra

The former king Gyanendra Shah Friday inaugurated a NGO named after his daughter-in-law Himani Shah. Inauguration of ‘Himani Trust’ was organized at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu. In the program, the Chair Person of the Trust, Himani Shah and the vice Chair Person Prerana Shah addressed the gathering. In the inauguration speech, they called the former king and queen ‘Shree Paach’ and ‘sarkar’, the title only given to the Kings and their families during the royal-era. ‘Sarkar’ is a Persian word meaing ‘head of affairs’.

'King' to inaugurate 'Princess' NGO

Taking advantage of the current political instability, the royal family is still in the process to get back it’s previous status. They have tried to use the only person in the family without much good or bad public information, Himani Shah, to create sympathy towards monarchy. Another reason of using the previous princess, in the mission, might be her innocent looking face and beauty.

Now, she has decided to conduct the work in a more organized way, by registering a non-government organization named Himani Trust. The Trust is going to be inaugurated today (October 8, 2010) in Soltae Crown Plaza hotel in Kathmandu.

Miss Angel 2010 is Sunny Amatya

One of the July hat-trick of beauty contests, Miss Angel, was held today (July 17, 2010) in Kathmandu.

Defeating 21 participants, Sunny Amatya of Lalitpur was crowned Miss Angel 2010 in a program held in Soltaee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu. First Miss Nepal, Ruby Rana, handed over the 17-year-old Sunny, the Miss Angel crown. Nabaraj Acharya of White Horse company handed over a check of Rs. 1,00,000 to the winner. Sunny also received a Anna Lifan Motorbike and a 1 year subscription of Home TV. Sunny will also be the brand ambassador of Home TV services.

Manisha Koirala Wedding Reception Party – Crowd of Leaders and Actors

The Wedding Reception of the marriage of Manisha Koirala with Samrat Dahal was full of well known Nepali leaders and Bollywood actors. The party also proved to be a meeting ground of the leaders of different political parties in Nepal.

The party started shaping up in the Soltaee Crown Plaza from 6PM. In the start, the family members of Manisha and political leaders arrived in the party. The place was so crowded that it took about half an hour in line to reach Manisha to hand over the gifts and offer their wishes to the newly married couple.
