Manisha Koirala and Samrat Dahal to get married in Gokarna Resort

manishakoirala A recent update on the June 19 marriage ceremony of Manisha Korala with Samrat Dahal is released on the venue of the marriage ceremony. According to the program, the Swyamber ceremony will be held on June 18 at Gokarna Resort, kathmandu. The marriage ceremony will also be held at the same location the following day.

Designers Sabyasachi Mukherji and Anna Singh will design the outfits for the pre-wedding ceremonies. Manisha will wear a red sari with diamond-and-gold work on her big day. Samrat, the groom, will wear traditional Nepali wear picked out by his US-based sister.

The family source told that the marriage ceremony is being held out of their home because of the recent death of her grandfather Girija Prasad Koirala.

Samrat will take Manisha as his wife to his home at Maharajganj, Kathmadu on the evening of June 19. The marriage party will be held in Soltae Hotel on the evening of June 20. Apart from the family members and relatives of Manisha and Samrat some Bollywood personnel will also attend the marriage party. Details on the attendance is not released yet.

Manisha recently finished shooting for Dipendra Khanal’s Nepali film titled Dharma. The film marks the return of the actress to the Nepali film industry nearly two decades after she left for Bollywood. Before she returned to prepare for marriage, she was in Cochin, South India, shooting for a Telugu film.

Bipasa Basu New York Lotto Commercial – hot and hit

A Bipasa Basu commercial is being a great hit in YouTube these days. The famous Bollywood actress posed topless in the advertisement for New York Lotto.

The commercial was shot in the beginning of her career, sometime in 1999, was directed by Ken Nahoum. The ad art director was illustrator Tommy Kane and the ad was shot in India. Bipasa has posed topless in the ad and she looks very sensual.

According to Bipasha’s spokesperson, Bipasha had done this ad in 1999 when she was modeling for Ford Modeling Agency in New York. The spokesperson said that the ad was was done as an international assignment and was meant for the international market.

Namrata promoting Thai Film Festival 2010

"Thai Short Film Festival 2010" has started in Kathmandu on Monday June 7, 2010. The event is organized to marks the occasion of 50 years of bi-lateral relationship with Thailand. The event will feature 14 films ranging from 1 minutes to 30 minutes.

Talking on the event of announcement of the festival on Sunday, Nepali actress Namrata Shrestha talked about the importance and challenges of short films. Namrata had acted in a movie on HIV Aids a couple of years back. She told that short films need to present the story in a very short time and hence can only be made by creative people.

Smita Thapa’s Advertisement or an Interview

There was a very hot interview of a model, Smita Thapa, in Saptahik, the sister publication of Nepal’s top newspaper, Kantipur. The interview titled “I need a man not a husband” claims that the model Smita Thapa uses men as toys and she uses men only for her sexual needs. Claiming to be the first public revelation of her private life, Smita talks about her decade long sex life. Smita started revealing more details of her sex life as the whiskey she was drinking took control of her.

In a startling revelation, she told that she couldn’t remember how many men she has slept with.

Miss Tibet 2010 – Tenzin Norzom

Tenzin Norzom, 23, was crowned the new Kingfisher Miss Tibet 2010 in an event held at Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts on June 6, 2010. Miss Norzom holds a Shastri degree (equivalent to Bachelor of Arts in Buddhist Philosophy) from Varanasi, India.

Last year’s Miss Tibet Tenzin Choezom crowned Norzom as the new Miss Tibet and presented a scholarship cheque of Rs. 100,000.

The first runner-up Yangchen Metok, 19, received a prize of Rs. 50,000. Metok hails from Dharamsala and she came to india in 2008 from Tibet.

Miss Tibet 2010 kicked off with swimsuit round of 4 contestants

The ninth edition of the Miss Tibet Beauty Pageant 2010 kicked off with the swimsuit round on Friday (June 4, 2010), held at Funky Town in Dharamshala, India.

There are only four participants in the contest.

Three judges checked the participant’s figure, confidence, poise and presentation in the swimsuit round.

Sanchita talked about her marriage with Nikhil

Sanchita Luitel, for the first time, has publicly told that she has married Nikhil Upreti. In a program, Rajatpat, broadcasted in Kantipur TV on Wednesday, she has told that after a 3-year-long affair, they had married some two years back. Sanchita also claimed that Nikhil hasn’t lived with his official wife, Kopila Upreti, since then.

Sanchita told that Nikhil didn’t want to flash the marrige to public so they didn’t tell about it then. In the interview she also told that she will bing Nikhil back to Nepal soon.

It has been 20 years since Rajesh Hamal started acting. 20 years back the movie “Yug Dekhi Yug Samma” gave birth to a new actor – Rajesh Hamal, new producer – Chhabi Ojha, and a new fight director – Rajendra Khadki who later became the top in their respective fields.

CA member returned his benefits

CA member representing Dalit Janjati Party of Nepal, Bishwendraman Pashwan has returned back Rs.1,20,700 that he received in the span of two years he was the CA member. That would make about Rs. 5,000 per months when divided by 24 months.

Mr. Paswan has told that the money belongs to the people and CA members have no rights to the money as the mandate given by the the people during the election – to write the Constitution within two years, was not done.

Although the move sounds patriotic and with good intention, it is possible that Mr. Paswan wanted to rip some political benefit from the move by returning only a part of the benefits he received for being a CA member.
