If you have read the books, will easily understand why it is more successful than any other books. Watching Harry Potter films won’t explain it that well. But, the books are really lively and anybody can relate the story to their own life. Although full of fantasies, the problems faced by the 11 year old boy are very realistic and how he deals with them is heart touching.

Harry Potter’s struggle for freedom makes you feel like our own struggle. The story of the man whose career is ruined by someone else’s mischief. The friends like Ron Hermione and teachers like Dumbledore and Severus Snape the character that knowingly sacrificed his whole life for Harry. Some of the things are better felt than explained.

The books appeals to both kids and adults. It is a magical fantasy that every kids wants to be true and they want to go to Hogwarts. The story is very old story, a very basic fairy tale story but, a very good one. The boy of destiny is plucked from an ordinary circumstances and becomes incredulous when he’s told the truth behind his real identity. After some training, trials, and a crisis of self-confidence – like every fairy tales, he emerges as the true hero ready to defeat the evil.

It is more than the narrative but also creating a new world. Plot development aren’t that memorable but, the introduction of Hogsmeade, the Quidditch World Cup, and others are much more memorable. One of the binding thing in the books is that, there is always something thrilling going on. Almost all characters have some real-world likeness to someone we know. And then, there is some serious life changing philosophy to take with you.

The power of love, and of being loved – the honest relationships between the characters. The author breaks things up and then she cruses the readers to explain the real reason the things are like that and hence, the flow of story and plots sound real. Another attractive aspect is that the author gives enough information for the readers to extrapolate beyond just the stories in the books but also plunge into an imaginary world of our liking.
