Friday Release, Aavash, Alvida, and Tathastu

Three new Nepali movies are releasing on this Friday, January 9, 2014. Rekha Thapa‘s ‘Tathastu’, Samyam Puri‘s ‘Aavash’ and Aryan Sigdel‘s ‘Alvida’ are the movies fighting to attract the viewers.

Aavash

Targeted to the youths, Nepali film ‘Aavash’ is directed by Surendra Poudel featuring actors Samyam Puri, Ashma DC, Nisha Adhikari, Salon Basnet, and Sunil Rawal in main roles. Made on a youth love story the story of the film is written by the director himself in association with Hemraj BC. The online couple Samyam Puri and Ashma DC were actually in love relationship offline. But, in a latest report, they have separated on mutual understanding. Samyam is currently busy in the shooting of another movie so, he hasn’t participated in the promotion of the movie.

Alvida

A film about Hindu and Muslim by producer Hasan Khan, ‘Alvida’ is directed by Laxman Rijal. The film features Aryan Sigdel and new actress Anita Acharya in leading roles. Aryan Sigdel is featured in a Muslim character and Hasan Raja Khan is featured in a Hindu character. Khan has told that the film is a love story in a typical Muslim community in Nepal.

Tathastu

Another film by director Shabir Shrestha, ‘Tathastu’ is one of the few out-of-home-production movies Rekha Thapa is promoting. Usually Rekha doesn’t participate in the promotion of films produced by other banners. But, based on her participation in the promotion, there is rumor that she has invested heavily in the film. Rekha has also met the rape victims of Rakshya Nepal to promote the film made on the story of marital rape. A video report states that Rekha has also promised the rape victims Pooja Bohara and Pooja Karki roles in her upcoming film ‘Ram Pyari’.
