Another great movie of Khagendra Lamichhane, ‘Dhanapati’ is released online for the Tihar festival. The movie is about the life of lower middle class couple and their trouble. The film is a presentation of Tukee Arts in association with Dipendra K Khanal Production. The film was released in theatre on Ashar 23 of this year (July 7, 2018). Khanal had previously directed and produced superhit film ‘Pashupati Prasad’.

Actor Khagendra Lamichhane is known for superhit films like ‘Pashupati Prasad’, ‘Talakjung VS Tulke’ etc. The director Dipendra K Khanal had directed those films too. Apart from acting in films, Lamichhane also writes the script of the films. Coming from theatre background, Lamichhane knows acting and being a writer he knows the presentation aspect of the story.
The actress Surakshya Panta is an engineer who does selected films that she thinks have value in the roles.
Although ‘Dhanapati’ wasn’t successful in box office, the critics have loved it and have found it interesting.
