About ‘Lanka’
Please read the full review of ‘Lanka’ before watching the movie. The movie produced by Om Prakash Agrawal for Chandika Films was one of the hit movies of 2012. The movie was released on November 16, 2012. The movie was also shown in foreign countries like Qatar. While Shyam Bhattarai had made hit movies like ‘Lanka’ for Rekha, Rekha later accused Shyam of not knowing anything about directing and snatched directorship of ‘Himmatwali’ from him.

The story of the movie is written by the producer, Chhabi Raj Ojha. These days, Chhabi is producing movies under Chhabi Raj Films and Rekha had taken Rekha Films with her.
Rekha Thapa – Actress Rekha Thapa is the most popular and influential actress in Nepali film industry. She directed ‘Himmatwali’ and is constantly producing movies every year since her divorce.
Actor Kishor Khatiwoda started acting in Chhabi Ojha’s movies and is seen mostly in Rekha and Chhabi’s movies.
