This week two more Nepali movies are being released in theaters. Two different movies ‘Manjari’ and ‘Vigilante’ are going to release on March 22, 2013. Both of the movies are considered to be the movies of interest for the audience.

A movie made jointly by Rejina Films and Kabita Films, ‘Bardaan’ is going to release on Falgun 25 (March 8, 2013) in theaters. A press meet was organized in Kathmandu to introduce Rejina Upreti‘s debut movie as a producer.
An upcoming Nepali movie ‘April Fool’ was censored in Censor Board and received an ‘A’ certificate – the movie only suitable for viewers of age greater than 16 years.
After postponing the release of the movie during the strike of film artists, Mausami Malla‘s movie ‘Samaya’ faced hurdles in the Censor Board at the time of it’s release. After negotiations on removing and editing objectionable movie scenes, the movie managed to get an ‘U’ certificate – suitable for the audience of all ages.
A much hyped Nepali movie, ‘Visa Girl’ is being released in DVD and VCD in a program held on February 23. The movie is made available for purchase in DVD stores by Hi Tech Entertainment starting February 24.

After a very good publicity a equally good response from the promotional matters, ‘Chadke’ was released all over Nepal on 22th February. ‘Chadke’, said to be an environmental thriller movie, is based on youths and the environment of Chitwan area. The movie is the debut movie of director Nigam Shrestha, and he had also assisted ‘Loot‘ as an assistant director. ‘Chadke’ features Namrata Shrestha, Robin Tamang, Arpan Thapa, Dayahang Rai, and Sushil Pokharel in leading roles.
Chitwan is ruled by a multi-ethnic six-member gang named Royal gang. The leader of Royal gang, Chewang Lama, haa political backing and his gang smuggles and sells Chitwan National Park animals to foreigners. The opposing political party supports a small gang of Bindu and offers Rs. 50 lakhs bounty to kill Chewang Lama. In the meantime, Royal gang’s member obstruct the work of a researcher who had come to study about plants and species in the National Park. The movie is all about these the researcher, Bindu, Chewang, and their gangs. I don’t want to kill the excitement of watching the movie by revealing the plot.
A new actress, Dipsikha Shahi has made a new record in Nepali movie industry by renaming herself twice in a month. That is a hat rick in name – from Dipsikha Shahi to Sikha Shahi to finally Darshan Shahi. The final name Darshan sounds much like a male name and we are afraid, it will also be changed to something else.

Nepali movie ‘Chadke’ is releasing on Friday, February 22, 2013. The movie directed by Nigam Shrestha features Saugat Malla, Namrata Shrestha, Robin Tamang, Arpan Thapa, Dayahang Rai, and Sunil Pokharel in main roles.
The movie features the cinematography of Sanjay Lama and Hari Bahadur Ghale(Lama), music direction of Jason Kunwar, editing of Lokesh Bajracharya and Dirga Khadka, and story/script/dialogue of Nigam Shrestha. ‘Chadke’, a story of gangsters of Chitwan, portrays the life of gangsters of our society. The thriller movie was awarded an adult certificate due to matured contents in its dialogues.
In an interview with xnepali the director Nigam Shrestha told that ‘Chadke is about content, performance and music‘.
Nigam Shrestha debuted as a director in his upcoming movie ‘Chadke’, scheduled to release this Friday. Nigam Shrestha – ‘Chadke’ is a story of gangsters of Chitwan. ‘Chadke’ is a thriller movie and also related to environment of Nepal . In short ‘Chadke’ is a movie that is made to entertain the audiences.
Nepali movie ‘Chhadke’ was awarded an ‘A’ certificate – not suitable for audience younger than 16-years. After the evaluation of the movie, the Censor Board had censored some of the dialogues and awarded the certificate because of vulgar words in the movie.
