Shree Krishna’s death came as an unpleasant surprise. Just after a month of marriage and on the day after the release of his movie ‘Kohinoor’, the timing of the death was unexpected.

Shree waited for 46 years to get married, an age his colleagues actors like Bhuwan KC and Shiva Shrestha had already married twice. It is sad, he couldn’t enjoy his married life as he fell sick soon after the marriage before he died in a hospital in New Delhi. Few days before his death, he had sent an audio message to his fans to watch his last movie ‘Kohinoor’ from his hospital bed. It was later revealed that bone cancer was the cause of his death. Appreciating his contribution to the Nepali film industry, Nepal government had given Shree a state honor.
