Anup Baral announces Dokh in his birthday (officially)

We had told about Anup’s new movie ‘Dokh’ and its story theme in our earlier post. Anup officially announced the movie during the celebration of his birthday on Saturday, April 4, at Shilpi Theater, Kathmandu. The birthday cake was specially designed to convey the theme of the movie – football game.

In the event, Anup cut his birthday cake and shared it with the artists and the crew. He also announced the film title and the production crew. The story of ‘Dokh’ was selected in a script writing contest. Rajan Kathet had written the story of the movie.

‘Dokh’ is the second movie of Anup Baral after directing his previous movie ‘Fitkiree’. The movie is being produced by the Australian company that had produced ‘Ritu’ (watch ‘Ritu’ here), ALP Entertainment.

Happy Birthday Anmol KC, celebration with Anna Sharma and mom Sushmita

The son of popular actor Bhuwan KC and actress Sushmita KC (Sushmita Bomzom) actor Anmol KC has celebrated his birthday on March 30 with his mother and actress Anna Sharma. By the way Anna and Anmol are seen together in various functions, it is apparent that Anmol and Anna are more than friends.

On his birthday, Anmol went to a temple to pray with his father and in the afternoon he met his mother for lunch at Embers restaurant. In a Facebook post Sushmita has written, “Enjoying lunch with my birthday boy Anmol and my daughter Anna… family, happy family.”

Samyam Puri turns 23, happy birthday !

The actor son of director Narayan Puri, Samyam Puri, has turned 23-years-old on March 28. He had celebrated it with his family on Saturday. But, according to the Nepali calendar he celebrated the birthday on March 29 again by cutting a birthday cake among his friends.

Actor Anuragman Singh Kunwar had brought a surprise birthday cake for Samyam and the cake was cut at ‘Mala’ director Sudip Bhupal Singh’s home in Jawalakhel. The artists celebrated the birthday by watching the cricket world cup final. Samyam’s girlfriend Ashma DC was was also present during the celebration.

Adhakatti to release on the birthday of its producer, Pradeep K Uday

The release date of movie ‘Adhakatti’, is scheduled for May 22, 2015, the birthday of the producer Pradeep K Uday. The movie was announced on Uday’s birthday in 2013 and it is releasing on the his birthday after two years.

‘Adhakatti’ is the debut direction of Kantipur journalist Subrat Acharya featuring Ashishma Nakarmi, Wilson Bikram Rai, Rista Basnet, Gaurav Pahadi, and Pradeep Bastola. The movie will also feature actress Namrata Shrestha and Gajit Bista in an item dance titled ‘Namrata..’ The shooting of the movie was delayed a while and went to floor after a year of its announcement. It is releasing a year after the start of the shooting.

Grievous statement of Sweta Khadka on Shree Krishna birthday

On the birthday of late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha, his wife actress Sweta Khadka has asked for his blessings to get well. In a long statement she wrote in Facebook, Sweta told that she is still sick and bed-ridden.

Although Sweta is impatient to work on the plans Shree and Sweta made before his death, her sickness has been a major hindrance. Sweta wrote, "In the previous birthdays I used to be present with a present, this time I have gathered the courage to ask a present of my wellness from you."

Nai Nabhannu La 3 song recording started on Anubhav Regmi birthday

On the birthday of the child artist of ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’, Anubhav Regmi, the song recording of the third sequel of the movie has started. The shooting of the movie is expected to start in a couple of months.

‘Nai Nabhannu La 3’ will repeat Anubhav Regmi as a lead actor. Sugyani Bhattarai will be featured in opposite to Anubhav. The director of the previous two movies, Bikash Acharya, is not going to direct the third sequel. Bikash’s assistant in the previous movie, Muskan Dhakal, is going to direct the new movie. The movie is produced by Bikash Acharya and Dinesh Pokharel.

Karishma daughter Kabita returned back to USA after doing a music video

The only daughter of actress Karishma Manandhar, Kabita Manandhar, is also trying her luck in entertainment industry. Currently living in USA for studies, Kabita was in Nepal for a month-long vacation. While in Nepal she did a music video, a debut role as a model.

Kabita had arrived in Nepal on December 17, 2013 while Karishma was participating in a cultural program in Doha. She returned back to the USA on Tuesday.

Kabita also celebrated her birthday at home and later organized a formal program, in which well known film personalities were invited.

‘Biteka Pal’ team celebrates Keki Adhikari birthday during audio launch

On the occasion of the lead actress’ birthday of the upcoming movie ‘Biteka Pal’, the film team organized a special celebration. This was the second time Keki Adhikari was celebrating her birthday with the film team. Last year, she celebrated her birthday in Darjeeling when the shooting of the movie was going on.

The celebration was done during the audio launch of the movie. Speaking at the ceremony Manoj KC told that Keki was the next big name in the industry after Rekha thapa. Producer Raj Kumar Rai also appreciated hard working nature of Keki. The director Suraj Subba also appreciated the work of keki.

Radio Audio FM Radio organized the 56th birthday celebration of comedy actor Hari Bansha Acharya it it’s studio on Nov 13, 2013. Hari Bansha was present in the ceremony with his wife Ramila. In the ceremony Hari Bansha told that he is planning to make a tele-serial featuring all the comedy artists in Nepal.

Talking about his wife Ramila Hari Bansha said, "The life with Ramila has just started. I wish I could live another half century. Once I used to wish that I could die, now I have started to love my life."

Kartik 27 is Hari Bansha Acharya‘s birthday. He was born on Kartik 27, 2014 BS (October 9, 1958) in Gairidhara, Kathmandu. Although the English date was on Saturday, the Nepali birthday is today (October 13).

The only son of father Homanjaya Acharya and mother Ganesh Kumari, Hari Bansha struggled to establish himself as a comedy artist for about six years until he met Madan Krishna Shrestha. The duo Madan Krishna and Hari Bansha ruled the comedy sector for the last three decades (source).
