The beauty contest held in Butwal movie theater last week was told to be to be the First Miss Lumbini (we suspect otherwise – see the comment at the end).

In the event, Miss Sweta Rajbhandari was selected the Miss Lumbini 2012 out of the 16 participating beauties. Apart from the crown, Sweta also received Rs. 30,000 cash prize and other gift hampers.

The first runner-up in the contest was Sujata Gurung of Bhairahawa and the second runner-up was Sandhya Shrestha of Rupendehi.  Both of them received a beautician course of value Rs. 10,00
0 and gift hampers.
