In an event held in Kathmandu today (October 4, 2010), Selina Moktan of Baneshowr was selected Miss Global 2010. In the crowd of beauty contest, Miss Global is a late entry with the first contest held this year. After winning the contest Moktan received Lifan motorbike and Rs. 20,000 in cash.

After winning the contest Moktan will represent Nepal in the Miss Global Queen International 2010 beauty contest to be held in China.

The first runner-up of the contest was Rushma Pokhrel of Nawalparasi, and second runner-up was Bikki Gadtaula of Baneshowr. Rushma received a laptop and Rs. 15,000 in cash and Bikki received a desktop computer and Rs. 10,000 in cash. (Photo credits- nagariknews, Kantipur, and onlinekhabar)
