Four wild elephants came in the commercial center of eastern Nepal, Birtamod.

Wild elephant in human settlements are very risky as they can cause damage to people and their properties. Such wondering of wild elephants in human settlements are attributed to the encroachment of their habitat, the jungle. People have left little of the natural habitat for wild animals.

The vehicular traffic were stalled in support of a protest going on in the Eastern part of the country.
