Nepal & Nepali8 Years in 5 Minutes, Rekha Thapa Holi highlights from 2010 to 2018

I have compiled a video of the Holi celebration of Rekha Thapa from 2010 to the last year’s Holi, Holi 2016. As the Holi 2017 is approaching (the festival is on March 12, 2017) I looked back to the history and compiled the list so that I can update it with the new information on the current Holi. I will share the updated video on or after March 12. The following video lists:

Rekha Thapa’s Holi in 2010 – Fun filled Holi celebration with Ayush Rijal at Namaste Nepal. That was before Rekha divorced Chhabi Raj Ojha.
Holi in 2011 – Video and photos of the celebration at Karishma’s home at Godawari. Almost all the celebrities in the Nepali film industry had gathered in the holi celebration.
Holi in 2012 – Video of Rekha dancing with others while Rajesh Payal Rai sang.
Holi in 2013 – Holi celebration with ‘Hamesha’ actor Sabin Shrestha and others.
Holi in 2014 – This year, Rekha Thapa was busy in the shooting of ‘Himmatwali’. One of the songs in movie was shot during Holi featuring holi colours.
Holi in 2015 – Rekha celebrated Holi with actresses Priyanka Karki and Keki Adhikari at Red Studio.
Holi in 2016 – At that time, Rekha was promoting her movie ‘Rampyari’. So, she participated in almost all of the major Holi celebration parties in Kathmandu to promote her movie. She also went to Karishma’s residence, Red Studios and other places.
Holi in 2017 – in Karishma Manandhar’s home and promotion of her movie ‘Palash’.

Holi Parties and Events in Kathmandu

Various Holi parties and events are held during the festival. But, the ones participated by the Nepali film industry celebrities are the ones that gets the most attention. TV stations, FM stations, news and media companies, hotels and restaurants, film producers, social organizations and NGOs are some of the organizations that organize such parties.

The parties Rekha had attended include:

Holi Party at Chhabi Raj Ojha’s Namaste Nepal office.
Holi Party at Red Studio, Aakash Adhikari’s company
Holi Party at Karishma Manandhar residence.
Holi Party at TV Filmy, Uddav Poudel’s company

After the bitter divorce with Chhabi Raj Ojha, Rekha has stopped attending Namaste Nepal after being seen there in 2013. While Chhabi is planning to marry Shilpa Pokharel, Rekha is not in good terms with her ex-husband.

Holi Party by Karishma Manandhar

The Holi Party by Karishma Manandhar in 2011 was one of the biggest such parties by a person. As Karishma’s party was not motivated by any interest and she was one of the least controversial actress in the film industry, most of the celebrities attended it.

In addition to fun filled and colourful celebration, it was also the birthday party of Karishma’s husband, Binod Manandhar. Their daughter Kabita Manandhar was also at home at the time. The party was so successful that Karishma continued to organize such party every years after that.

In the year 2015 Karishma was in Birgunj during Holi festival for the shooting of her movie ‘Fagu’. So, the Holi celebration in Kathmandu residence was canceled. She however organized a Holi party there with the movie crew and other people.

In 2016, Karishma continued her special Holi party with the personalities of the Nepali film industry. It was as lively as the other year’s one.
