Upcoming Nepali movie ‘Camino’ is expected to bring in the craze of Nepali film industry as it features some well-known actors in main roles. In the movie Raj Ballav Koirala is making a comeback after 10 years of relocation to the USA. The movie is also going to be the debut movie of Niti Shah. The winner of Miss International Nepal 2017, Niti Shah is a well-known face in the modelling industry. Her attempt to join the film industry was delayed more than once in the past. At last, she will probably be featured in Camino in a significant role.

The main actor Pradeep Khadka is currently the most popular male actor in the film industry. After Anmol KC’s recent release failed miserably in box-office, Pradeep seems to be the only hope at the current time. Another addition in the movie, Saugat Malla is considered one of the most seasoned actors in the Nepali film industry. Another actress in the movie, Barsha Siwakoti, was featured in some of the successful films of the industry like ‘Pashupati Prasad’ and Nai Nabhannu La’s sequels.

The movie to be directed by Deepak Oli had recently signed in Saugat Malla. In addition, other well-known actors like Bholaraj Sapkota, Rabindra Jha, Prabin Khatiwada, Kuldeep Adhikari and IP Acharya were also signed in earlier.

The movie to be made under Access Nepal Films will feature Purna Lama as the creative director, Sunil Bista Gauli as the executive producer. The script of the movie is written by Mahesh Dawadi. Kunjan Bhattarai is assisting the script writer Dawadi. The movie will be shot in various location in Nepal and South America. In addition to Nepali actors, there will be an addition of a Brazilian actor and an Indian actor in the movie, who are yet to be finalized.

The movie is expected to go to floor on the second week of Baisakh. Currently the workshop with the actors is going on. Dinesh Bahadur Raut will help Deepak Oli in the direction as the Chief Assistant Director and Sagar Shrestha as the Assistant Director. Other behind the camera personalities include Saurav Lama as the cinematographer, music composition of SD Yogi and Alis Karki, fight direction by Samrat Basnet, and Dinesh Prakash Mahara as the Production Designer.

It is interesting to see so many well-known actors in a movie. But will it do justice to Niti Shah’s debut or Raj Ballav Koirala’s comeback? Will they shine out in the crowd? Please comment. Thank you.
