Condom Fashion Show in China

Condom fashion show was held at the Fourth China Reproductive Health New Technologies and Products Expo and organized by China’s largest condom manufacturer, Guilin Latex Factory, to promote the use of condoms in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Beijing July 11, 2007. It marked the World Population Day, organized annually by the U.N. Population Fund.
Models showed off tight-fitting wedding gowns, scaly-looking evening dresses, outrageous bikinis and other garments made entirely of condoms.
Condoms of all shapes and sizes were displayed at the fashion show featuring dresses, hats and even lollipops made of them.

Rebecca Hardy, a tomboyish meat packing plant worker from Mannheim, Ont., was crowned “Canada’s Next Top Model” in a tear-filled season finale of the catty reality TV series on Wednesday night.
“I’m super thrilled,” the five-foot-11 redhead with the edgy bob haircut said in an interview at the CHUM building in Toronto as the last episode of Cycle 2 of the Citytv reality TV series was airing.
Hardy, 22, beat out four other women in the finale to win the title, which carries a C$100,000 beauty contract with Procter & Gamble, a modelling contract and an editorial spread in Fashion Magazine.
She took vacation from the plant in Kitchener, Ont. and most probably won’t go back to work.

Love of Hannover : in mind and on her back

This lady, Britta Oelschlaeger, a 33-year-old photographer, has tattooed map of Hannover on her back. She found a 1896 map of her hometown and etched it on her back. The tattooist took 7 hours to etch the outlines of that late 19th-century city plan on her back. But that is unfinished map, it will take many more hours to etch in the various hues of brown and green to give it the exact look as the original map.

No glamour to Nicole Richie In Jail
The news emerged after she was sentenced to nearly 4 days in prison for her wrong-way freeway trek in a Mercedes-Benz. Richie was sentenced Friday of nearly four days in jail, a fine of $2,048 and orders to attend drug and alcohol rehab.
“She’s not gonna be coming in here wearing a miniskirt and pumps,” Burbank police Sgt. Thor Merich said, describing a spartan lifestyle that would await her if she goes to that city’s jail.
“We pretty much go the bare minimum,” he said.
Prosecutors said Richie will serve the time in a city jail rather than a county lockup. She has the choice of any local jail in Los Angeles County that will accept her.
Richie was arrested on Dec. 11 after witnesses reported seeing her black Mercedes-Benz sport utility vehicle headed the wrong way on a freeway in Burbank. The California Highway Patrol said they found her parked in the car pool lane.
Richie told authorities she had smoked marijuana and taken the prescription painkiller Vicodin, a CHP officer said at the time. No drugs were found on her or in the car. News: Source

Almost all beauty contest I have heard of have a bikini round involved. But in this beauty pageant where participants of 16 countries were gathered didn’t have a bikini round and participants were to show-off their beauty by covering up the body as much as they can.
Can you guess where it must have been held?
Yes, it was the Miss Arab World 2007 beauty pageant held in Cairo – with Miss Bahrain, Wafa Yaqoop (shown above), being crowned the winner. It is a good thing at least they are conducting beauty pageants.

Paris Hilton cut off of her inheritance
Barron Hilton is really embarrassed by his granddaughter Paris Hilton’s wild behavior. He has axed $60 mil inheritance from her. In the Forbes 400, which lists the 400 richest Americans, Barron Hilton’s worth in 2006 is listed at $1.0 billion.
It seems Grandpa doesn’t appreciate hearing about her non-stop partying, shopping, gaining fame because of a sex tape, and going to jail. It looks like Paris will have to make her own money to continue on with her lifestyle.
Family patriarch Barron Hilton was already embarrassed by his granddaughter’s wild behaviour – notably when her home sex video was leaked on the internet. But the 79-year-old considered her 23-day sentence last month the last straw.
“He was, and is, extremely embarrassed by how the Hilton name has been sullied by Paris,” says Jerry Oppenheimer, who wrote a biography of the clan called House Of Hilton.
“He now doesn’t want to leave unearned wealth to his family.”
Hilton senior, the only member of the family left with a sizeable stake in the huge hotel chain, has let it be known that he intends to donate to charity the $2.4bn he will gain from this month’s sale of the company to private equity firm Blackstone.
The money will go to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the charity set up in the name of the founder of the family business.
It is to be noted that when Barron’s father died in 1979, he left the bulk of his estate to the Roman Catholic Church and other charities, and almost nothing to his children. Barron contested the will because of his lifelong career of working to build the hotel company and won his lawsuit in 1988. Britney Spears: 2007 MTV Video Music Awards
Reuters says that she drew ridicule by dressing up as a stripper and miming her new single.
“She blew it,” gossip columnist Perez Hilton told Reuters. “Everybody knows Britney lip-syncs, but that’s because she dances so much. She barely even danced in this. It was so bad. It was painful. It was embarrassing. And I loved it!”
Her last studio album, released in 2003 was not commercially sucessful.

Lindsay Lohan: Addicted to sex?
It seems that is what is happening to Lindsay Lohan. After alcohol addiction and drug addiction now it is being rumored that she is switching to sex addiction.
Insiders at the 21-year-old’s rehab centre in Utah, claim the red head can’t stop fantasising about her ex-boyfriends which include Calum Best.
US Star magazine worte: ‘She’s been having erotic dreams about her former lovers, like Calum Best, Wilmer Valderrama, and Jared Leto. Her counsellors are trying to get her to understand that she’s substituting one addiction for another.’
Last week she met her jailbird father, Michael Lohan, for the first time after two years whith whom she was quoted as saying, “Daddy, I have done some terrible things and been addicted to drugs but please believe me I will never do drugs again. I hate Hollywood and I don’t want to work there. I need a break and I am moving away. I will stop hanging around with the people that are bad for me.†(soruce)
