The 19th richest person in the world, Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, is currently in Nepali in his first ever visit of the country of Mt. Everest. It is also the first ever Nepal visit by the member of Saudi royal family.
Prince Talal, the nephew of the Saudi Arabian King Abdullah, arrived in one of his private planes (he owns four of them including Boeing 747 and Airbus 321) with a team of 36 people. As of March 2010, his net worth is estimated at US$19.4 billion, up from $13.3 billion last year. Time magazine has even nicknamed the Prince as the Arabian Warren Buffett.
Saudi Arabia has been one of the top country for Nepali workers with more than 300,000 Nepali working in the country. The country ranks third most popular destination for foreign bound Nepali workers.
