The 2001 release movie ‘Lagan Gatho’ is directed by Ramesh Budhathoki, the cinematographer of the movie is Ram Shankar Pradhan. The movie is made on the story of the actress, Sharmila Malla. The script and dialogue of the movie is written by Mukunda Shrestha.

The movie was produced jointly by Sharmila Malla and Biju Ranjit. (Late Biju Ranjit was the husband of actress Shrijana Basnet.)
