Myanmar´s military government has freed democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, on Saturday, November 13. After her latest term of detention expired she was released to meet several thousand supporters gathered in her residence. 65-year-old Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Suu Kyi, was wearing a traditional jacket and a flower in her hair when she appeared at the gate of her compound. The crowd cheered and sang the national anthem. In the last 21 years she has spent 15 years in jail or under house arrest.
