The new Miss Nepal is from Australia – Anushka Shrestha. A Bachelor graduate working in Sydney, Australia has won the Miss Nepal title and will be representing Nepal in Miss World competition.

The event was held at the premise of Laboratory School on May 9, 2019. Out of the 25 contestants, 14 were selected first then 7 were the finalist of the contest. Out of the 7, 5 were selected to represent Nepal to the International beauty contests.
Pradeepta Adhikari was selected Miss Universe Nepal 2019
Riya Basnet is Miss Nepal Earth 2019
Meera Kashapati is Miss Nepal International 2019
And Rose Lama is Miss Supranational Nepal 2019
Anushka was crowned by Miss Nepal 2018, Shrinkhala Khatiwada.
Pradeepta was also Miss Talent 2019. She was also the Miss Athlete title winner. Riya Basnet is Popular Choice. Anushka Shrestha won Miss Fassino. Nisha Pathak won Miss Confidence and Ntika Karmacharya was awarded Miss Beauty With Purpose.

Thank you for the question mam. I completely agree with that statement.. that focusing on our responsibilities more than our rights which certainly change things for the better. Rights and responsibilities are two parts of a coin. We have been hearing that. And, we have talked a lot about what should be done to us. But, it is high time we ask ourselves what am I doing, to ask ourselves, to be able to look ourselves in the mirror and say “I have fulfilled all my rights therefore I can put my hand on my heart and say, “I deserve this?†To be able to do that? One surely needs to fulfill all our rights including of a citizen as a person as a friend as a partner, all our rights. Only when we fulfill our responsibilities can we ask for our rights to be given to us. Thank you.
