Miss Tibet 2010 – Tenzin Norzom

Tenzin Norzom, 23, was crowned the new Kingfisher Miss Tibet 2010 in an event held at Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts on June 6, 2010. Miss Norzom holds a Shastri degree (equivalent to Bachelor of Arts in Buddhist Philosophy) from Varanasi, India.

Last year’s Miss Tibet Tenzin Choezom crowned Norzom as the new Miss Tibet and presented a scholarship cheque of Rs. 100,000.

The first runner-up Yangchen Metok, 19, received a prize of Rs. 50,000. Metok hails from Dharamsala and she came to india in 2008 from Tibet.

The second-runner-up Rinchen Choden, 25, was awarded with Rs. 25,000. Choden is a hair stylist with a Bachelor in Commerce degree from Bangalore.
