Actor Rajesh Hamal has turned 49 years old on June 9. Born in a hospital in Palpa in 1964, Rajesh has been active in the Nepali film industry for the last quarter century.

Rajesh Hamal debuted in Yugdekhi Yugsamma’ in 1989 and managed to win the National award for the role in the movie. Rajesh Hamal had done masters in English literature from Chandigadh University and was one of the most educated person in the film industry.

Rajesh spent his childhood with his ambassador father in Russia. He started as a model in India. In 1985 he was featured in a fashion magazine Fashion Net in Delhi. In 1986 he did some ramp modeling in Delhi and Kathmandu.
