There is a tradition, specially in South Asian countries to write stuffs in vehicles like buses and trucks. In Pakistan and some parts of India, such vehicles are made canvas of artists – with all sorts of artistic creations. In Nepal, we see a lot of witty and short snippets written in some buses and trucks. One of my friends has collected a lot of such photos in his blog http://kguff.com. With his kind permission, I have collected top five tragedy themed bus/truck writings (I am not sure if these are literature).

1. Chodera gayau timile malaai

Looks like, somebody dear has left the owner/driver of this truck for somebody else.

2. Kasto phool rojechhu maile
The Super 2008 Express bus has a tragic quotation of a lover leaving before one could even talk.

The same bus was later renamed Mayapriti Express (in 2009)

3.Timro maya mero laagi
A love struck poet wrote a tragic poem piece on the back of the truck.

Birsana saknechau tyo rukh lai

4.You won’t be able to forget me …

5. Don’t fall in love
Message with on the sides of tearful eyes at the lower portion reads: “DONT LOVE LOVE IS PAINFUL”
