Actor Bhuwan KC had organized a huge party on the occasion of his daughter’s marriage. In the party, high profile gusts were invited including ex-King Gyanendra Shah. Ex-king arrived one hour before the party began and left offering his best wishes to the new couple and having a cup of black coffee.

 

Participants included speaker of the house Subash Nebwang, Chief of Army Chatra Man Gurung, ex-prime ministers Madhav Kumar Nepal and Surya Bahadur Thapa.

Various leaders of political parties including Ramchandra Poudel, Arjun Narsingh KC, Pashupati Shamsher Rana, Bamdev Gautam, Bharat Mohan Adhikari, and Ishwor Pokharel were also present in the party. In addition political leaders, most of the people of Nepali movie industry, journalists and businessmen were invited to the party. Present in the party were actors Shiva Shrestha, Rajesh Hamal, Raj Ballav Koirala, Sunil Thapa, and actresses like Karishma Manandhar, Rekha Thapa, Rejina Upreti, Yuna Upreti, Richa Ghimire and many others.

Kajal is Bhuwan’s daughter from his first wife, Vijaya KC. After their divorce, Vijaya with her daughter Kajal and son Vivek had been living in the USA. Vijaya and Kajal arrived from the US for the marriage ceremony to be held in Bhuwan’s home.

Bhuwan KC had been producing movies through a company named after his daughter Kajal – Kajal Films Pvt. Ltd. Kajal is married to a US resident Non-resident Indian Punit Roy who works with Kajal in the US. After the marriage the groom took the bridge to Soaltee Hotel where he was living. The new couple will go to Punit’s ancestral home in Delhi, India to complete the marriage rituals. After the completion of the formal marriage ritual in the home, they will fly back to the US.

In the event actress Sushma Karki sang a song to congratulate the new couple and Karishma Manandhar danced a little bit in the stage. Singer Shiva Pariyar also sang a sweet song in the ceremony.
