Film artists won the football match

But, the football match played on Saturday was for real and real actors were playing against journalists. I talked about their preparation in my last post. The effort paid off and the film artists’ team won the game by 3-1. From the film artists’ team Badri Pangeni, Shankar BC and Suvash Meche scored one goal each and from the journalist’s team Deependra Lama scored prenatally goal in the game.

Dhiren Shakya was the captain of the the film artists team with team players: Rajesh Hamal, Sri Krishna Shrestha, Nikhil Uprety, Shiva Shrestha, Rajballav, Jiwan Luintel, Rajesh Dhungana, Biren Shrestha, Arjun Karki, Yogendra Shrestha, Mahadev Tripathi etc. Suvekshya Thapa and some other female artists also played in the game.

Journalist team included Nirjal Shrestha, Prakash Subedi, Subrat Acharya, Amolmani, Dayaram Pandey, Bikash Karki, Ashokpyasi Rai, Uttam Goudel, RD Shrinkhala, MP Subba, Laxaman Subedi, Rajan Ghimire.

Majority of the 10,000 viewers in the Dasharath Rangashala were supporting the film artists in the game. (source – Nagariknews, filmykhabar)
