In a beauty contest among children aged between 9 and 14 years, held in Kathmandu on October 15, 2012, Sadiksha Satyal was crowned the Junior Princess 2012. In the event titled Junior Prince & Princess Beauty Pageant, Aman Khan was selected the Junior Prince 2012. The first runner up of the contest was Diya Magar and Asmi Dhungana was crowned the 2nd runnerup.
The 23 boys and girls selected for the final event were offered self-devel
opment training to develop their physical, mental and intellectual capability by experts in related field.
This year’s Junior Prince & Princess Beauty Pageant is the third edition of the yearly contest.
